about us

Fluffy Cabs is a site devoted to the new female philosophy on cars and car styling.

We don’t care that much about BHP and the time it takes for a car to get from 0 - 62 MPH. Speed and power are important, we know they are, but things are changing in the world of female motoring.

We do care about the style and colour of our cars, both inside and out. Fashion is not just for shoes and bags. No more boring grey and black interiors for us! We like small cars that are economical to drive and can be customised. Oh okay the odd 4×4 and Mitsubishi Warrior do creep in from time to time! But we mainly like smaller, better looking cars.

What are we currently doing with our cars? A growing number of us are scouring the shelves of motoring stores and supermarkets for ways to update and style our cars.

Why are we doing this? Well car interiors tend to come in one colour and style scheme - dark grey plastic. Some of the exterior paintwork on cars can also be quite unexciting and we often don’t have much of a choice when it comes to changing this. But we can do something about the interior of our cars, just like we do with our homes. As females we have an innate sense of style and flair that we use everyday when it comes to buying and wearing clothes and shoes. Just think what we could do with our cars if we focused on them in this way.

What are we doing in our cars? We spend roughly the same amount of time in our cars as we do in our kitchens and bathrooms. Do we want a kitchen that’s full of dark black/grey plastic? I want my kitchen to have a style that reflects my own, and I care about getting the colours right. I don’t need to know how my kettle was engineered, but I do want it to be a quality and stylish design and brand.

Who is Miss Fluffy?
Fluffy’s owner is Donna Fraher. Donna was trained by Vicki Butler-Henderson to be a RealReviewer on the Motors.co.uk website and she comes from a family of car nuts. Donna’s current car is a restored Golf GTI that is purple and has done 181234 miles! She decided that she was a bit of a geek when she realised she’d done four degrees and still had room for more!
